This webpage contains the policies of my platforms and services, along with the rationale behind each of the policies.
Common policies apply to all platforms and services, with per-platform and per-service policies overriding the common policies.
Failure to follow the policies will result in a warning. 3 warnings will be given to offending users, followed by a ban.
The list is alphabetically-sorted A-Z by group-name, with common policies listed first.
Current policy version: 1.0.0
Current policy effective date: 2026-04-01
All posted content must abide by the laws of United Kingdom (herein referred to as its ISO 3166-1 country code, "GBR").
Rationale: Inferencium infrastructure is located within GBR; therefore, the laws of that jurisdiction apply. Even for peer-to-peer platforms, the main administrator is located within that jurisdiction and the data is managed on their devices.
All content posted must be of English language.
Rationale: English is the world's bridge-language and can be understood by most people. Inferencium administrators and moderators are also fluent in English.
Ad-hominem attacks are prohibited. Attack ideas and opinions, not the people behind them.
Rationale: Attacking other people does not make your own ideas or opinions more valid than theirs.
"Not Safe for Work" (NSFW) content is prohibited.
Rationale: Not everyone wishes to see such content, and such content is unrelated to all Inferencium platforms.
"Not Safe for Life" (NSFL) content is prohibited.
Rationale: Not everyone wishes to see such content, and such content is unrelated to all Inferencium platforms.
AI-generated content is prohibited, with an exception granted for automated-translation.
Rationale: Inferencium platforms and services wish to foster a well-researched, well-documented, well-discussed, effort-driven, human environment. AI produces content by blending human-written content from around the internet and presenting it poorly as authoritative fact. An explicit exception is given for automated-translation for non-English speakers.
Styled text is permitted, under the condition it is not overused. Keep styled text to a minimum and use it only when appropriate, such as for emphasis. Overuse of styled text will be classified as spam.
Rationale: Styled text can bloat the platforms and make it difficult for people to read.
Units-of-measurement for date and time must comply with ISO 8601. Units-of-measurement for other areas must comply with International System of Units (SI).
Rationale: International standards remove ambiguity from differing units-of-measurement when people of different territories use different units-of-measurement.
The sources and services blacklisted across Inferencium platforms and services can be consulted via the Blacklist webpage.
Rationale: Inferencium platforms and services wish to spread only fact and evidence. The blacklisted sources and services have proven to spread disinformation, misinformation, consipracy theories, and other unacceptable information incompatible with Inferencium platforms and services.
