Politics

The political spectrum is neither a good nor logical way of presenting one's political beliefs or affiliations. It is too narrow and positions slight variations too far apart. In a lot of cases, it is highly subjective and what makes someone right-leaning or left-leaning, and how far that leaning is, is purely up to the perception of the audience. Right-wing-versus-left-wing terminology is used solely to cause division and sensationalise individuals performing heinous acts as being a part of the opposite side. For these reasons, I break down my political standpoints into individual categories, rather than present them as a broad categorisation based on right-wing-versus-left-wing terminology.

As a brief overview, I consider myself an economic socialist and anti-capitalist, and social conservative. For more information about how and why, continue to the below sections.

Economical

I am an advocate for socialist economics grounded in fact and reliant on evidence, focused on people helping others, and fair treatment of everyone, regardless of who they are, their beliefs, and their status in any aspect of life. I am also an advocate for the fair treatment and welfare of disabled people, and support neurodivergent thinking.

While the capitalist ideology is that everyone can be free, it has turned out to not be the case in many occasions, with people still reliant on employers employing them, not making them redundant or firing them, and paying them enough to not only live on, but also to be able to do what they want to do in their lives. There is no freedom when the world is so reliant on the people already running the show. Mental-health issues and lack of medical care are 2 of the most prominent effects of capitalism, and it gets much worse when it concerns disabled people, who have been put through gross neglect, and, arguably, torture, at the hands of capitalist governments, such as the British Conservatives.

It is a fact that humanity has gotten as far as it has through sharing of information and assisting each other with knowledge and science, leading to solutions and technologies being created. It would not even be possible to host this website or read it without such previous sharing of information. Capitalism instigates the restriction of information sharing as it directly goes against money-making when rivals-of-capital could make money via that information; therefore, capitalism is anti-humanity, as well as anti-progress in the context of humanity rather than greed and a small amount of people, companies, organisations, etc, producing products.

A capitalist government could simply introduce laws which allow for a free-market and low taxes, but heavily restrict citizens in other ways. That would be classified as a capitalist government while having none of the freedom commonly associated with it. It is also false to state that capitalist governments provide citizens with the ability to defend themselves, as the government would simply deploy military in order to prevent dissent. Capitalism does not define non-authoritative, non-totalitarian, nor non-dictatorship control over citizens, it is solely an economic model.

When the world is run this way, where does the argument against socialism and communism stand? Contrary to popular belief, and misinformation, socialism and communism are not defined by authoritarianism, totalitarian, or dictatorship; they are separate issues unrelated to political ideology, and it is perfectly possible to have an authoritarian, totalitarian, or dicatorship-based capitalist/conservative government.

While money is important, it is not more important than the well-being of citizens, and does not replace human rights.

Social

I am an advocate for conservative social constructs, including science-based, biologically-factual gender identity, and anti-social-media communication.

While I am not against people doing whatever they want to their own bodies, I am strongly against pushing ideology and opinion as fact, when it is provably false based on science and evidence.

Social-media has become a cancer across the world, causing extreme amounts of conflict and misinformation. It has given rise to collective stupidity rather than traditional critical thinking.

Things being "offensive" has plagued the world, and barely anyone can accept differing opinions at this point without resorting to either violence or legal action. It should be fully resisted and freedom-of-speech restored. It should be up to the audience of information to decide how to act for themselves. To not have free speech is to not be human.

Parties

Reform UK

I am a member of Reform UK, a political party focused on restoring British values and securing the country against illegal immigration and woke ideology. It is pro-free-speech, pro-cash, pro-cryptocurrency, anti-central-bank-digital-currency, anti-digital-ID, and anti-woke.

Reform UK is the only hope GBR has at restoring freedoms and crushing goverment spyware. Under the previous Conservative and Labour governments, goverment spyware and tracking has reached unprecedented levels and will, soon, quite literally become a real-life 1984, unless someone puts an end to it; that someone is Reform UK, and no one but.

Religion

The Satanic Temple

I am a member of The Satanic Temple (TST), an international, rationalist, nontheistic, science-based, fact-based religious and political church with a mission to encourage benevolence and empathy, reject tyrannical authority, advocate practical common sense, oppose injustice, and undertake noble pursuits. It focuses on justice, individualism, freedom, free speech, and science.

The 7 Tenets

The Satanic Temple has 7 fundamental tenets which uphold its beliefs and philosophy. The tenets are as follows:

I. One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason.

II. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions.

III. One's body is inviolable, subject to one's own will alone.

IV. The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own.

V. Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs.

VI. People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused.

VII. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word.

Misconceptions

Due to misinformation, and even disinformation, about TST and its beliefs, I have clarified some of the common misconceptions about it in the following sections by taking some key points from the official TST FAQ. For more information about TST not covered here, visit its FAQ webpage.

Does The Satanic Temple Worship Satan?
No, nor do we believe in the existence of Satan or the supernatural. The Satanic Temple believes that religion can, and should, be divorced from superstition. As such, we do not promote a belief in a personal Satan. To embrace the name Satan is to embrace rational inquiry removed from supernaturalism and archaic tradition-based superstitions. Satanists should actively work to hone critical thinking and exercise reasonable agnosticism in all things. Our beliefs must be malleable to the best current scientific understandings of the material world - never the reverse.
Does The Satanic Temple Promote Evil?
No. The Satanic Temple holds to the basic premise that undue suffering is bad, and that which reduces suffering is good. We do not believe in symbolic "evil." We acknowledge blasphemy is a legitimate expression of personal independence from counter-productive traditional norms.
